Arsenal Restaurant, set into the town wall overlooking the old boat harbour, is a wonderful setting for a great meal. Often musicians will entertain you during your meal.
Gils (near the Ploce Gate), offers fine dining and their food is
beautiful (the prices are at the top of the range for Dubrovnik).
The service in this restaurant is also of a very high standard.
It is a delightful place to eat on a fine summers’ evening.
Arca restaurant is also in the square where the fruit and vegetable market operates and offers a range of Dalmation and Italian fare including vegetarian dishes.
Poklisar offers very nice meat and fish meals and a fine view out to the Adriatic and Pile Gate.

For pizza, try Mea Culpa or Castro.
At Castro, mention to Ivanka or Nikolas that you are staying at Villa Antipodes and they will ensure you have a fine meal.
For fish meals there are many options but one we enjoy is the Tavern Lokanda-Peskarija near the old port.
Satu Sushi Restaurant
Offering a wide range of sushi is the Satu Sushi Restaurant in the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel in Lapad.
For a coffee and to watch the world go by, try Gradskavana.
If you are looking for pasta, try Spaghetteria Toni’s.
For meat, try Domina, found in a small courtyard in the Old Town
close to the Dubrovnik’s Jazz bar.
